The company

Reservation is the beating heart of many of this business products!

It handles critical steps on trip reservation including booking, ticketing, management of traveller records etc.

Their organization, Reservation, drives these reservation functions for most of Travel Content, such as air, land, sea. They are accountable for our unique reservation platform, used by both by Airlines and Distribution actors.

With the travel industry rapidly changing, Reservation organization is involved in key on-going and new projects at the crossroad of all the business units (e.g. integration of the next generation of distribution interfaces to acquire airline content, enhancing the platform to optimize merchandizing techniques for our customers, etc.). They also recognize technical challenges of their platform’s modernization.

The position

The main mission will be to integrate an agile and transversal team (Developers, Product Definition Analysts, QA and DevOps) to develop brand new features to enhance Reservation capabilities.

During this journey you will have the responsibility to perform professional and standardized validation of this core application. You will analyze and review functional specifications, design test cases and turn them into a blend of manual and automated scripts. You will perform the test plan execution and be an active part of the GO/NO GO decision.

You will interact with your peers as well as with your product definition and software development counterparts. In a continuous improvement spirit, you will contribute to the definition, implementation and rollout of new quality processes and actively participate in the RES QA community.

The main missions are : 

  • Unit and component testing ;

  • Monitoring of application and product health ;

  • Good level of autonomy in QA aspects ;

  • Not scared by technical projects ;

  • Incident and problem prioritization, investigation, and fixing ;

  • Interface with a big variety of different profiles of the company inside and outside the team and be part of the various design, implementation and validation phases ;

  • Research, evaluate and suggest technical and process-related improvements.


Expérience, Compétences techniques et Personalité :

  • Engineering Master degree or University degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience ;

  • Strong appetite for quality engineering role ;

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
