The company

Reservation is the beating heart of many of our products.

It handles critical steps on trip reservation including booking, ticketing, management of traveler records etc.

Our organization, drives these reservation functions for most of Travel Content, such as air, land, sea. We are accountable for our unique reservation platform, used by both by Airlines and Distribution actors.

With the travel industry rapidly changing, Reservation organization is involved in key on-going and new projects at the crossroad of all the business units (e.g. integration of the next generation of distribution interfaces to acquire airline content, enhancing the platform to optimize merchandizing techniques for our customers, etc.). We also recognize technical challenges of our platform’s modernization.

The proposition

The main missions are : ​

• A Software Development Engineer is accountable for the technical design and delivery of the product functionalities based on the solutions agreed with the stakeholders (Customers, Product Management, Product Definition Analysts) and in line with the team vision.

• You will be at the heart of Reservation, where you will have great opportunities to acquire a broad view and knowledge of the compagny system.

• You will be responsible for the development of new software solutions along with the maintenance of the existing code.

• You will work closely with our business counterparts.

• You will then have closed interactions with many development teams located all over the world.

• You will be integrated in a stimulating and collaborative environment, in a scrum team, where you can learn and grow very quickly.

Requirements

• Strong C++, Java experience

• RDBMS/SQL (Oracle preferred, No SQL like Couchbase is a plus)

• Standard Template Library

• Design Patterns

• Unix/Linux

• XML / Edifact / Json REST

• Architecture: knowledge of SOA/Event driven architecture

• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
